Meet the Director

Jillian has worked in the education field for 7+ years. She has spent time teaching kindergarten, preschool, prekindergarten and extended care for preschool. Jillian spent 11 years as a stay at home mom. Jillian lives in Washington with her husband, Kevin and their 3 children, Aidan, Owen and Gwen. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her family going camping, hiking or playing games. Jillian says “I truly believe that children are a blessing from God. Not only do they soak up everything you teach them, we can learn so much from them! What a blessing it is to work with the youngest of God’s creations!”

Leah Otto

Leah has experience working with children for over 17 years. She has worked in Child Care at the YMCA and for the last 2 years as a Preschool Paraprofessional. Leah lives in Washington with her husband Steve and their 3 children, Kadin, Kaya, and Kallie. She enjoys exercising, taking her dog for walks, hiking, and spending time with her family. Leah says “I am so excited to be a part of this program at Immanuel and I look forward to getting to know the families and the children in my care.”

Toddler 2 Lead Teacher

Mrs. Dani Wagner

Dani has spent the last 7 years teaching in the early childhood education field. She started as an assistant at The Moog Center for Deaf Education and worked her way to leading the toddler classroom the last 2 years she was there. She has spent the past year leading a preschool class at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool in O’Fallon. Dani lives in O’Fallon with her husband, Braxton, and their cat, Cesar. On the weekends, Dani and her husband enjoy taking day trips, hiking, or exploring, and spending time with their friends. She is also in school, online for Early Childhood Special Education. Dani believes that it is a gift to be so passionate about early childhood education. The way children will feel about school for the rest of their lives begins at the preschool level. She wants to make school exciting, memorable, and rewarding for her students and families.
