In addition to the Infant & Toddler Program and Early Childhood programs, Immanuel Lutheran School also offers an accredited elementary school program, beginning in Kindergarten and continuing through the 8th grade.
Accredited by both the National Lutheran School Accreditation as well as the Missouri Non-Public School Accreditation, Immanuel Lutheran School meets and exceeds the expectations set forth for non-public schools in the state of Missouri.
Students enjoy the single-graded classrooms, with an average class size of 18 students. Our experienced staff is certified and trained in working with children of various learning styles and reaching out to meet the needs of each child. For more information about our Elementary School program, contact the school office at (636) 239-1636.
Students in 3rd through 8th grade have the opportunity to serve the school through their direct
involvement in the Student Council. This program allows students to assist Immanuel in raising
funds and awareness for mission projects, planning school-wide activities and assemblies, and
promoting our school community.
Some specific annual activities include hosting Immanuel School Spirit weeks, overseeing Operation Christmas Child, and leading prayer before each home game.
This program is offered as a weekly activity for our upper grade students.
Students in the handbell program participate in our weekly chapel services as well as designated
Sunday worship services.
A band program exists for students in 6th through 8th grade under the supervision of St. Francis Borgia School. Specific information regarding this program (including the monthly cost) is presented to students and parents at the beginning of each school year.
Immanuel offers three choirs in which students participate. All students in our Preschool through
Kindergarten programs are part of the Early Childhood choir, while students in 1st through 4th
grade belong to the Primary Choir. Students in 5th through 8th grade have the option of joining
the praise choir, “Joyful Noise”. Each choir sings at chapel services and several Sunday church
services throughout the school year.
Chess Club meets each spring and is led by Mr. Hallien, our 8th grade teacher. This club is open to any students in 5th through 8th grade and works to develop the chess skills of children – from introductory level for the beginners to improving the skills of returning and experienced chess players.
Chess Club allows students to experience friendly competition while instilling confidence, promoting self-esteem, developing the problem-solving skills of the children.
Is open to Kindergarten through 8th grade students that are interested in building legos and competing.
There are multiple ways for the youth to be involved in the Church, School, and Community.
